New Neti Pot Nasal Wash / Sinus Irrigation System by Nasopure is the natural way to improve sinus health and prevent sickness because it uses natural ingredients and does not have any side effects. The patented bottle is an improvement on the traditional neti pot design because it encourages nasal washing with your head in an upright position as opposed to tilting your head to the side with a traditional neti pot. In addition, the patented bottle has a tip that makes nasal washing easy for everyone ages two and above. The patented bottle comes in two sizes: a 4 ounce travel bottle and an 8 ounce bottle that holds enough saline mix for an entire week of use. Regular use of a saline nasal wash can soothe and moisturize nasal membranes which helps keep sinuses clear, clean, and healthy. Further, nasal washing can reduce allergy symptoms, sinus congestion, and dependency on medications such as antibiotics, antihistamines, nasal steroids, decongestants, and asthma medications because the saline mix creates an adverse environment for viral and bacterial organisms. It is recommended to use less saline mix to start and to gradually increase the potency of the saline mix. Included are detailed instructions that illustrate how to hold the bottle at the correct angle and how to create the saline mix with the easy to use Swish Stixs. Recommended for use by children two and above, athletes, performers, singers, travelers, seniors, firefighters, construction workers, farmers, military, and anyone exposed to environmental pollution and irritants.

Like many, I have allergies and this rig does help...however, the bottle is thin plastic, and basically, has a top that resembles a dish detergent top. (In fact, I don't see any difference) My main gripe about this rig, is that the pop top, pops closed sometimes while you are irrigating even under slight pressure. (In other words, if you put too much pressure while trying to seal the bottle against your nostril, the cap may close on you). The marketing pitch claims you don't have to tilt your head. This is bunk if you want to be able to use all of the solution in the bottle. You will still need to tilt your head. (Frankly, this is no big deal) As far as cost, for what you get, 20 bucks is too much. In fact, it's a rip off for what is essentially a dish detergent bottle. Don't buy the packet/refills... they are a ripoff too! Instead, here is how to save some $$$ on the... It caused pain and headaches. However, post-nasal drip that didn't respond to anything the docs have me made me want to try again. After seeing a video showing a chid using this product I decided to give it a go.What an amazing difference this product has made. I am not sure if it is because I can stand up straight using it, or due to the design of the bottle, but I experience no sinus pain or pressure as with the traditional netti pot. After four days I could breathe easier, sleep more soundly because the post nasal drip does not wake me up any longer. For the first four days/nights the post nasal drip was there, but more of a saline drip. I now use it every morning, after I brush my teeth. However, I do not use the packets that came with it any longer, as they sting. I use a pharmaceutical grade salt which is very fine and don't feel a thing. Overall... The Nasopure allows you to irrigate your lower sinuses while looking directly ahead, with absolutely no "drowning" sensation. Your upper sinuses are gently cleansed by the suction action that occurs when the saline solution rushes through your lower sinus passages. The instructions included with the Nasopure say to use about two tablespoons of the saline solution in each nostril per day, storing the excess in the bottle in between uses; but I typically use about half the solution in each nostril, rinse out the bottle with hot water, then mix up fresh saline solution the next morning. The enclosed packets of mixture are handy when you're getting up to speed with the whole process, but when they run out it's a simple matter to add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt to warm...
